The KTM 790 Duke is a middleweight performance naked bike that is now available for booking in the Nepalese market. The bike will be just available in a single variant in Nepal. Hansraj Hulaschand and Co. Pvt. Ltd., the only authorized distributor of KTM Bikes in Nepal, has opened bookings for the KTM 790 Duke. The bike is also called ‘The Scalpel’ for its sharp handling and engaging handling and dynamics. According to the company, the street naked borrows the sharp styling and features from its elder sibling, the 1290 Super Duke.

KTM 790 Duke is powered by the LC8 799 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that generates 105 bhp of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 86 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. Transmission duties are covered by a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The suspension includes a 43 mm open cartridge WP front fork and a 12-stage preload-adjustable WP rear mono-shock. Braking duties are handled by twin 300 mm front discs with radially-mounted J Juan calipers and a 240 mm rear disc. The bike comes with a cornering ABS along with riding modes that include a supermoto mode that turns off ABS at the rear wheel.

The 790 Duke is equipped with a full LED headlight, a full-color TFT instrument panel, lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, multiple power modes, launch control, and wheelie control.
