The Czech automobile manufacturer carmaker is all set to introduce Skoda Kushaq SUV in the Nepalese market. The name 'Kushaq' was derived from the Sanskrit word 'Kushak' which denotes 'King' or 'Emperor'. Skoda has also begun accepting bookings for the midsize SUV via its dealerships and website, with the booking amount set at NRs 1 lakhs in Nepal. Skoda Kushaq is a 5 seater-car and looks sleek and quite handsome and is heavily based on the Volkswagen T-Cross. 

 

The Skoda Kushaq will be available in three variants in Nepal; the base Active variant, a mid-spec Ambition variant, and the top-spec Style variant. Skoda Kushaq is likely to be priced between NRs. 50 Lakh to NRs. 65 Lakh in the Nepalese market. Skoda’s compact SUV locks horns with the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun in Nepal.
