Pure EV is all geared up to launch its new high-speed electric scooter called Etrance Neo in the Nepalese market. The e-scooter will be officially launched next month according to the company. The new model is set to offer a higher pickup and longer range combined with modern aerodynamics. The company explained that the scooter comes with a proprietary battery and internal technical developments for BTMS (Thermal Battery Management Systems) to ensure a long service life and high performance.

The Entrance Neo will offer a pick-up speed of zero to 40 kilometers per hour (kmph) in five seconds and its 2,500 watt-hours (wh) battery will have a range of 120 kilometers in a single charge. It is powered either by a standard 1.5 kW battery pack or a more powerful 2.2 kW Peak BLDC Motor. The scooter chassis is mainly designed for higher speeds at par with the conventional ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) two-wheelers according to the company.

The scooter is mainly targeted for youngsters who will find this model very appealing," PURE EV Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Rohit Vadera said. Etrance Neo will be launched in Nepal by next month. The IIT Hyderabad startup has already launched five scooters -- EPluto 7G, Epluto, Etrance, Etrance Plus and Etron plus. The company believes that this will help to meet the anticipated growth in the Nepalese electric vehicle.
