Ahead of the official launch on August 27, 2020, Honda 2-Wheelers has released a 15-second teaser video of the upcoming CB Hornet 200R premium street motorcycle. As one can spot in the official teaser, the 200cc bike features upside down (USD) front forks, an all-digital instrument console, and an all-LED headlight. In addition to these features, the CB Hornet 200R is expected to come equipped with a dual-channel ABS unit as standard.

In terms of pricing, the Honda CB Hornet 200R is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.40 lakhs while the price is yet to be revealed for Nepalese market, and it would be competing with the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and the KTM Duke 200. As of now, there are no details available regarding the power and torque figures of the CB Hornet 200R.

As per the details available, the brand will be equipping the upcoming 200cc motorcycle with a liquid-cooled engine that will be capable of generating a maximum power output between 20HP-23HP. It is expected that Honda would be increasing the displacement of the China-spec CBF190R’s 184.4cc engine to around 199.5cc and will also tune the same to generate more power and torque to make the CB Hornet 200R capable enough to compete with the rest of the 200cc street bikes available in the Nepalese market.

The upcoming Honda CB Hornet 200R will get all-new bodywork and hence, one can't say the bike will share most of its design with the now-retired CB Hornet 160R. Moreover, the motorcycle will also get premium looking, golden finished upside-down forks upfront along with a negative LCD display. The company has recently shared a teaser video of the upcoming offering on its social media platforms. Now, the video reveals some interesting and exciting details about the bike including some features that are quite noteworthy. Stay tune with us for more auto news in Nepal.
