Toyota has just launched the Fortuner TRD Limited Edition in the certain Asian market with both 4×2 AT variant and the 4×4 AT variant. The limited-edition model is priced INR 2.45 lakh higher than the standard variants on which it’s based on. We are not sure yet how much that costs in Nepal. The TRD version of the SUV is available in a single 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder, diesel engine option which is further mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition is good for a maximum power of 177 HP at 3,400 pm and 450 Nm of utmost torque at 1,600-2,400 rpm. As part of a ‘Special Technology Package’, the Fortuner TRD has been equipped with head-up display, auto-folding ORVMs, a 360-degree camera, a dashcam, an air purifier, puddle lamps, a tyre pressure monitor system, and a door-mounted wireless smartphone charger for rear-seat passengers.
