TVS Motor has officially launched the all-new TVS iQube electric scooter. The iQube is the company's first electric two-wheeler that offers modern technologies with good performance and battery range. TVS iQube Electric is offered in 3 variants - iQube Electric ST, iQube Electric STD, and the top variant iQube Electric S. Jagadamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS motorcycles and scooters in Nepal is also set to launch all-new TVS iQube electric in Nepal. The new electric scooter is expected to be launched in Nepal by end of 2022.

The iQube is powered by three lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of 2.25 kWh. The new electric scooter is equipped with a 4.4kW hub-mounted BLDC motor that generates 140 Nm of torque. The battery pack has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and has a dedicated battery management system. The iQube has a range of around 75 km and can charge the battery around in five hours. While it takes around five hours to charge completely the claimed range is 75 kilometers. According to the company, the scooter can reach a peak speed of 40 kmph in Eco mode and 78 kmph in Sport mode, with a 0-40 kmph acceleration time of 4.2 seconds.

It features futuristic design elements including a U-shaped LED DRL on the handlebar cowl, a sleek headlamp, and taillight design, a big seat, a spacious footboard, and a large under-seat storage box, and a USB charging port under the seat for recharging electrical gadgets. The iQube also has a full-color TFT instrument cluster with TVS' Smart Xonnect function that allows you to link your Smartphone to the display through Bluetooth to get access to different information, including incoming calls, and messages notifications, ride stats, remote battery range, and geo-fencing. 

TVS will be announcing the pricing and delivery details for the iQube electric scooter in Nepal very soon. According to the company, the battery pack is covered by a 3-year/50,000 km warranty. It comes with 10 color options. The TVS iQube competes against other premium electric scooters like the Ather 450X, Ola S1, Bajaj Chetak, and the Simple One.
