Emflux Motors –a Bengaluru-based startup is all set to unveil the first-ever electric motorbike. The highly stylish Emflux Model 1 is claimed to be first-ever electric motorbike that is aimed at offering the high-end superbike feel and riding experience to its customers. The latest Emflux Model 1 will be featuring two variants initially –a “Standard” one and a “Top End” one.
The classic Emflux Model 1 sports an AC liquid-cooled motor which is given power by the highly specialized Samsung Li-ion batteries. The engine of the bike is capable of churning out an overall power of around 67 BHP along with a peak torque of around 854 Nm at 8400 rpm. The motorbike is able to offer unmatched acceleration by achieving 0-100 km/hr in a matter of just 3 seconds with the top speed parameters of 200 km/hr.
The braking hardware of the Emflux Model 1 consists of mono-block aluminium-based brakes which have been sourced from Brembo. The overall suspension setup comes from the highly advanced Ohlins. The bike also receives the dual-channel ABS unit by Continental for enhanced safety features. Additional features of the bike include the presence of GPS navigation, mobile app & bike-to-bike connectivity, real-time diagnostics, and so more.
The first electric bike by Emflux Motors is expected to run around 200 km on a single charge. The bike will be requiring only around 36 minutes to get charged up to 80 percent of its battery. From the design sketches of the first electric bike, the Emflux Model 1 seems to be based on a tubular chassis. The bike will be featuring a single-sided swingarm that is equipped with a monoshock rear suspension along with the upside-down Ohlins front forks. The bike displays the bold & sporty look through its elegant trellis single-sided arm offering unparalleled strength to the rear axle of the bike.
Being hailed as first electric superbike, the Emflux Model 1 is expected to be delivering the performance standards of any superbike equivalent with high-end motor and riding factors. On a single charge, the company promises the riders an impressive range of around 200 km. For enabling enhanced riding performance and handling, the concept of regenerative braking is helping the company boost the travel range of the Emflux Model 1 bike while riding & braking.
Being the first-ever electric superbike in India, the bike is yet expecting to witness strong rivals against it. The fully-faired motorbike is expected to land directly in the category of the advanced 600-650cc bikes and is, therefore, expected to be giving hard-time competition to petrol-powered competitors like the Kawasaki Ninja 650. Currently, under the testing phase, the electric superbike is all set to rock the Nepalese automobile markets in the coming times.
