The BS6 Benelli TRK 502X Adventure bike has been officially launched across certain Asian markets. According to the various reports, this adventure tourer motorbike will also be available in the Nepalese market in the upcoming months but the final date is yet to be confirmed. According to the company, this ADV will be available in a Pure White and Benelli Red colour scheme, as well as the TRK 502X, which has also received some notable updates, apart from the updated emission norm-compliant engine.
The BS6 TRK 502X is powered by the 499.6cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine and peak output figures remain at 47.5hp at 8,500rpm and 46Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. With front and rear disc brakes, Benelli TRK 502X also comes with the anti-lock braking system(ABS). This motorbike is also equipped with 110/80 section tyre on the 19-inch front wheel and 150/70 section tyre on the 17-inch rear wheel along with the brakes and suspension.
The new TRK 502X features a twin-pod headlight with LED DRLs, a beak-style design, a semi-fairing, knuckle guards with aluminium brackets, a tall-windscreen, and a split-seat setup. The bike also comes with an updated instrument cluster, new handguards, a textured finish on the back of the mirrors and a body-coloured front mudguard. The instrument cluster continues to be a digi-analogue unit. The adventure tourer also gets USD telescopic front suspension and hydraulic monoshock at the rear.
As we mentioned earlier, prices for the TRK 502X are yet to be revealed for the Nepalese market. We expect the price to be around 10 lakhs or more once launched in Nepal. The direct rival to Benelli TRK 502X is the Kawasaki Versys 650, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT and the Honda CB500X. All of these bikes are yet to be launched in the Nepalese market. Benelli is also providing a standard warranty of three years/unlimited kilometres with the BS6 TRK 502X. The TRK 502X is the more off-road oriented motorbike.
