Bajaj Auto has officially launched the new Bajaj Pulsar NS125. This is the first 125 cc bike that the company has launched in its 'NS' or naked sport range. The new NS takes its place as the smallest displacement motorcycle in the series after the NS200 and the NS160. Bajaj says that the NS125 is the most powerful bike in its segment. With the arrival of the Pulsar NS125, Bajaj’s Pulsar line-up has grown to 10 models including three models in the NS series. According to the company, Bajaj Pulsar NS125 will be launched in the Nepalese market next month.
The Pulsar NS 125 will be powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected DTS-i engine that makes 11.82 bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque output is rated at 11 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Braking hardware consists of a 240 mm disc up front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. The Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 stands on 17-inch alloy wheels which is the same as the Pulsar 125 bikes.
The NS125 looks identical to its larger siblings NS160 and NS200 when it comes to the design. The motorcycle is equipped with a sleek halogen headlamp along with twin pilot lamps. The tail lamp is LED whereas the indicators are bulbs. The bike gets a 12-litre fuel tank and comes with CBS, instead of ABS. The NS125 also features the same split seat. While the instrument cluster isn’t visible, it is likely to be a semi-digital instrument cluster. According to the company, the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is built on a perimeter frame suspended on a telescopic front fork and a rear Nitrox shock absorber.
Once launched in Nepal, the NS125 will be offered in four colour options that are Pewter Grey, Beach Blue, Fiery Orange and Burnt Red.
