TVS Motor Company has officially launched its all-new BS-VI Apache RTR 160 4V RTFI in Nepal. Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS motorcycles in Nepal launched their new BS-VI RTR 160 through an official launch ceremony held at Purple Haze Rock Bar, Kathmandu. The new Apache comes with a Race-Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-FI) technology with BS-VI compliant engine that helps in better fuel economy, power delivery, and better emissions control. It also comes with several upgraded features and appealing looks.

The BS-VI Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi) TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a 159.7cc, Single-Cylinder, 4-valve, Oil-cooled, SOHC, FI engine. TVS has updated the engine with three riding modes: Rain, Urban, and Sport. It produces 17.55PS at 9250rpm in Sport mode and 15.64PS at 8600rpm in Rain and Urban modes. The peak torque stands at 14.73Nm at 7250rpm in Sport mode, and 14.14Nm at 7250rpm in Rain and Urban modes. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a 12-liter fuel tank capacity. The claimed mileage is about 40-45 kmpl depending on the road condition.

The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has an LED headlight, taillight, halogen gauges, a digital instrument cluster, and some variants get smartphone connectivity that displays multiple trip information and connects to the driver's smartphone via Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation too. The motorcycle also has a single-channel ABS. It also comes with an easy-to-reach one-piece handlebar and single-piece seat for optimal comfort. TVS has equipped the Apache 160 4V with Glide Through technology.
