Hero MotoCorp is the pole position holder in the Nepalese two-wheeler market thanks to its vehemently popular Splendor series of bikes. But, in the scooter segment, where Nepalese market has seen a rapid growth in recent times. After conquering and holding the top position in the bike segment for years, Hero MotoCorp now aims to grab the top position in the scooter segment as well and in an attempt to achieve that goal, the homegrown two-wheeler brand is focusing on introducing more new scooters in coming years.

One of the upcoming scooters from the Hero MotoCorp is the Dare, a 125 cc premium scooter that is expected to launch later next year. Upon launch, this scooter will challenge the rivals like Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access, which are pretty popular models. 

Speaking of the upcoming Hero Dare 125’s design, it will come with a very muscular and strong look. The scooter might remind you of the Yamaha Ray Z. It gets sharp headlamp at the centre of the front cowl, while the instrument cluster will get a fully digital display. A spacious footboard area will enhance the comfort of the rider, while the well-cushioned seat will ensure more comfort. There will be a spacious under seat-storage compartment with a boot-light and USB charging port. At the back, the scooter will get prominent grab rail making the riding experience of the pillion rider comfortable, while the wide LED taillight will add style to the model. The scooter will be available in attractive colour options. It will run on sporty alloy wheels wrapped with meaty rubbers. 

The power source for the Hero Dare will be a 124.6 cc single-cylinder engine coupled with a CVT. The engine will churn out 9.38 bhp of peak power 7,500 rpm and 9.8 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. For braking duty, the scooter will get a 200 mm hydraulic disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum unit. Hero Dare 125 will compete with rivals like Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access, TVS Ntorq 125 etc.

Hero Dare 125 cc scooter will come offering around 50 kmpl of mileage for sure. In terms of performance, Hero Dare 125 cc scooter is expected to come impressively. Also, expect it to offer good handling capability as well. Certainly, Hero MotoCorp would see the pretty good response to this 125 cc scooter. Considering the fact that, urban Nepalese buyers are showing keen interest towards the 125 cc scooters, it could fetch good sales result.
