Triumph has introduced BS6-compliant versions of the Street Twin and the Bonneville Speedmaster in certain Asian market. The BS6 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is priced at Rs 11.33 lakh in the indian market. There’s also an optional two-tone black and white colour scheme that’ll increase the price by Rs 30,000. The BS6 Street Twin, meanwhile, has a starting price of Rs 7.45 lakh. The price rises to Rs 7.58 lakh if you configure it in the grey or red colour scheme. We are yet not sure when they will launch those bikes In Nepal. The price of bike will be much more higher in Nepal due to high custom charge.
Other than the addition of the new blue colour scheme on the Speedmaster, both Triumph models remain unchanged. The engine on the Street Twin continues to remain a 900cc parallel-twin unit like the previous bike. The peak torque figure of 80Nm also remains the same, but it now comes at 3,700rpm instead of 3,800rpm. The RPM at which 65hp is produced has gone up from 7,400rpm to 7,500rpm.
As for the Speedmaster, its 1,200cc parallel-twin powerplant now delivers 79.5hp at 6,250rpm and 107Nm of torque at 4,000rpm, as compared to the earlier 77hp at 6,100rpm and peak torque of 106Nm at 4,000rpm. Stay tune with us for more auto news in Nepal.
