Avatr 11 Electric SUV Arrives in Nepal Ahead of Launch: Debuting at NADA Auto Show 2024

The premium electric SUV Avatr 11 has made its arrival in Nepal ahead of its official launch. CG Motors and MAW Group are preparing to unveil this electric SUV at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2024. Motors and MAW Group, two prominent business organisations, have partnered to bring the electric SUV Avatr 11 in Nepal. Developed by Avatr Technology, a partnership of Changan Automobile, NIO, and CATL, the Avatr 11 combines sleek design, powerful performance, and cutting-edge technology.


The Avatr 11 boasts impressive specs that satisfy even the most discerning EV enthusiasts. It is equipped with a single motor that generates a maximum power of 230 kW (308 hp) and 370 Nm of torque. It also features a CATL-supplied 90 kWh battery pack. It offers an impressive range of 555 km according to the CLTC standards. The Avatr supports fast charging up to 240 kW DC, allowing it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. Using a 7.2 kW AC charger, it takes 13 hours to charge from 0 to 100%. It is constructed on a 750V architecture. 


The Avatr 11 is a statement of modern automotive innovation with sleek design and advanced features. It is equipped with advanced features such as all-LED lighting, including sharp LED projector headlights paired with LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and LED tail lamps. It also features frameless doors with concealed automatic door handles and a panoramic glass roof that blocks UV rays. The dashboard includes a 15.6-inch central display, a 10.25-inch Full LCD instrument cluster, and an additional 10.25-inch screen for the passenger.


The Avatr 11 is packed with safety features, including six airbags, ventilated brakes, ABS + EBD, traction control system (TCS), rollover mitigation control (ROM), hill hold and descent control, auto hold, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS with parking assist and collision warnings. It also boasts a premium 25-speaker system, wireless charging, voice recognition, gesture control, face recognition, front camera recording, and Laser Radar technology for advanced driver assistance.


The Avatr 11 has dimensions of 4880 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1601 mm in height, with a 2975 mm wheelbase. It weighs 2160 kg and can reach a top speed of 200 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. Both the front and rear tires are 265/45R21 discs. The suspension system is handled by independent setups, featuring double wishbone and five-link designs. It features 34 sensors and Huawei’s ADS 2.0 system for advanced intelligent driving.


The Avatr 11 price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs 1.45 crore. The available colour options will be revealed before the launch event. The Avatr 11 Electric SUV is more than just a vehicle; it’s a glimpse into the future of luxury electric mobility. Its combination of cutting-edge technology, exceptional performance, and sophisticated design makes it a formidable contender in the EV market.
