Royal Enfield has long been a symbol of heritage, style, and performance, and its much-anticipated Super Meteor 650 is set to make a grand debut in Nepal in 2025. Bookings for the Super Meteor are expected to open in the next few days, with deliveries scheduled to begin by mid-2025. However, the company has yet to announce the exact launch date. The Super Meteor 650, known for its elegant design, powerful engine, and refined cruising performance, is a favourite in international markets. 


At the heart of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is the robust parallel-twin engine known for its smooth power delivery. It is powered by a 648cc BS6 engine that generates a maximum power of 47 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque output of 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-assist clutch. With both front and rear disc brakes, it comes with dual-channel ABS. It gets 43 mm upside-down forks with 120 mm travel up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, with 101 mm of travel.


The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 boasts a classic cruiser design that will turn heads on Nepalese roads. In terms of features, it comes with a semi-digital monopod instrument console, complemented by the RE Tripper navigation pod for real-time directions. It sports a classic round LED headlamp, LED indicators and an LED taillight. The digital display provides key information such as a fuel gauge, trip meter, odometer, clock, and gear position indicator. Its design highlights include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a scooped seat, and robust fenders.


In terms of dimensions, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 measures 2,260 mm in length, 890 mm in width, and 1,155 mm in height. It features a 1,500 mm wheelbase and offers a ground clearance of 135 mm. The seat height is set at a comfortable 740 mm, while the bike’s kerb weight comes in at 241 kg. The fuel tank has a capacity of 15.7 liters and offers an estimated mileage of around 30 km per liter. The bike is also fitted with a 19-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. The front tyre is sized 100/90 - 19 M/C 57H, while the rear tyre measures 150/80 B16 M/C 71H.


The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 10 lakhs. It is offered in three variants: Astral, Interstellar, and Celestial. It also comes in five colour choices: Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green. Additionally, it comes equipped with a touring windscreen, a premium touring seat, and a passenger backrest for enhanced comfort and convenience during long rides. With its powerful engine, stunning design, and rider-friendly features, this bike promises to deliver an unmatched riding experience.
