Yamaha has been known for its powerful and stylish bikes, and the latest addition to its FZS V4.0 FI is no exception. Recently, Yamaha Motor launched its latest model, the FZS V4.0 FI in the Indian market. MAW Enterprise, the authorized distributor of Yamaha bikes in Nepal, is also set to launch its new motorbike the FZS V4.0 FI in Nepal. Bookings for the FZS V4.0 FI are set to open in the coming days while the deliveries will commence by mid-2023. It is available in a single variant- Deluxe. The Yamaha FZ S V4.0 FI is the latest version of the popular FZ series and it comes with an array of upgrades and new features.
Yamaha FZ S V4.0 FI continues to draw power from the same 149cc single-cylinder motor that generates a maximum power of 16.6 bhp and 13.3 Nm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The conventional front forks and monoshock at the rear on the FZ S Fi V4 are the same as the previous model. Even the front and rear disc brake setup remain unchanged. Dual-channel ABS is still not offered however, it still comes with a Single-channel ABS. The 149cc single-cylinder engine is BS6 phase II compliant, meeting RDE norms. Along with that, this engine is E20 compliant as well. Meaning, it is capable of running on Ethanol blends up to 20%. The fuel-injection technology in the engine ensures better fuel efficiency and smoother throttle response.
The bike features a muscular and sporty design with a sharp and edgy headlight, LED DRLs, LED turn indicator and a redesigned fuel tank with a larger capacity of 13 litres. The new version also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster that displays a plethora of information including speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level readout and gear position. It is also equipped with the new Bluetooth-enabled Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X app that connects your phone to the bike. The app offers features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, and an immobilizer that can be activated with a single touch. The app also offers information on the bike's maintenance, including oil change schedules and service reminders.
The Yamaha FZS V4.0 FI price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs.4.00 - NRs.4.50 lakhs. Price increment is imminent considering everything new with Version. It is offered in three colour options -Metallic Grey, Majesty Red and Metallic Black. The Yamaha FZ S V4.0 FI competes with the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, and the Suzuki Gixxer 155. It is a great addition to the FZ series and offers a combination of style, performance, and features.
