Hyosung showcased the GD250R premium quarter-litre sportsbike at the recent Auto Expo and since then the enthusiasts have been waiting for this model to launch in the Nepalese market. The Hyosung GD250R comes as a faired aggressive looking sportsbike and promising a high performance. This bike could launch here sometime later  in 2020.

Speaking about its design, the Hyosung GD250R is certainly one of the best looking and visually most appealing bikes from the brand. It gets twin sharp headlamps with projector units, a compact and tall visor. The fully digital instrument cluster adds extra premiums to the overall look along with the fairing, while the chunky 11-litre capacity fuel tank gives the bike a masculine feel. It is visible that Hyosung GD250R has been designed keeping the aerodynamic efficiency.

The bike gets split seats with the rider seat positioned lowered. A narrow tail section, split grab rail, sleek and compact LED taillight, underbody exhaust muzzle are the other design elements of the bike. Also, it sports visually attractive colour scheme as well. It runs on sporty black alloy wheels wrapped with meaty and wide high-performance tyres.

The Power source for the Hyosung GD250R is a 249 cc four-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.The engine is capable of churning out 27.6 bhp of peak power at 9,500 rpm and 24.17 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.For braking duty, the Hyosung GD250R gets a 300 mm petal single disc brake and a 230 mm petal single disc brake as well. The Hyosung GD250R will throw tough challenge to the rivals like Honda CBR300R.

On the performance front, the Hyosung GD250R comes with a top speed of 140 kmph and it also promises a swift acceleration capability. Hyosung also promises that the GD250R has a great handling capability as well. The Hyosung GD250R could be an interesting bike upon launch. If priced right, the bike will surely give tough competition to its rivals.
