Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the Rally Kit for the Xpulse 200 4V. This optional kit, which brings additional components to the off-road-biased motorcycle is also set to make its debut in the Nepalese market in the coming months. This kit is exclusively for the 4 valve variant of the Xpulse 200. This optional kit has been priced at Rs 46,000 in India. Hero hasn't revealed the Rally Kit’s pricing for the Nepalese market yet. Hero MotoCorp says that the deliveries will commence a while later.

Hero has equipped the Rally Kit with some seriously capable off-road componentry. The kit includes Maxxis rally tires, a preload-adjustable cartridge-style fork with a whopping 250mm of travel, while the preload-adjustable rear monoshock has 220mm, handlebar risers, and flat tall bench-type seat, extended gear pedal, and extra long side stand. It also comes with the massive 275mm of ground clearance on offer. The bike comes with an updated length, width, and height of 2243 mm, 850 mm, and 1308 mm. The wheelbase is increased to 1419 mm.

The Rally Kit does not bring any changes to the engine of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. Thus, the motorcycle is equipped with a 199.6 cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 18.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm at 6,500 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.   It comes with the same chassis and brake components with a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear unit, paired with a single-channel ABS unit. The fuel tank continues with a 13-liter capacity and it gets proper off-road sized spoked rims with a 90/90-21 at the front and a 120/80-18 at the rear.

In terms of design, Rally Edition gets a slightly reworked fuel tank with red and gold accents. It gets new bold graphics in red and black shades for a sporty look. The engine head also gets a red finish, unlike the usual Xpulse engine head’s silver finish. The Xpulse 200 is also modern with features like full-LED lighting, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and message and call alerts. It also gets a new design for the DRL.

The Hero Xpulse 200 price in Nepal is NRs. 4,03,500 for the BS4 carburetor 2V variant and NRs. 4,50,000 for the BS6-FI 4V variant. The Rally Kit for the Hero Xpulse 200 4V is set to cost an additional Rs 50,000 over the Rs 4.50 lakh base price of the standard bike. There's no word on the launch yet but we can expect the model to arrive by August 2022 in Nepalese market.
