Suzuki has officially introduced the highly anticipated third-generation Hayabusa. According to the recent report, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will be globally launched on February 25. The bike receives significant styling updates, a redesigned engine, and a broader suite of electronic riding aids. The 2021 iteration of the Suzuki Hayabusa was teased online on 1st of February and the bike is also set to make it's way to the Nepalese market. However, there are plenty of things about the third-generation Busa to be excited about which come with bigger engines and turbocharged power.

The new Hayabusa retains the 1340cc four-cylinder engine capacity. The 1340cc inline-four engine is likely to push 200PS of power while the peak torque of 150Nm is also slightly lower than before. Apart from that, most of the internals have been redesigned. The list of redesigned parts includes the pistons, the connecting rods, the crankshaft, and the magneto. The 1340cc engine now complies to Euro-5 norms as well. The dimensions includes1480mm wheelbase. The seat height is 800mm while ground clearance is quoted at 120mm. Suzuki reduce the kerb weight by two kilos for a total of 264kg.

According to the company, the previous Hayabusa was by far the most popular superbike sold across the various Asian markets. While this popular superbike is yet to be launched in the Nepalese market. We expect that the new bike will be launched here as well, but probably with a significant amount of price where only a few of us can afford. The Hayabusa will be available in two new colours: Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red. Suzuki dealerships around the world will begin receiving the third-generation Hayabusa in March 2021.
