The 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V has been officially launched across certain Asian markets. According to the company, the bike is also all set to launch in Nepal in the coming months. The much-loved TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has received some small but very impressive updates for 2021. The 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is made lighter, losing 2 kg in weight, and has marginally more power and torque than its predecessor model. The 160cc sporty naked now arrives with a new engine which makes the bike the most powerful in the 160cc segment.

The new Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by the same 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, while the power of the 2021 model has increased by 1.5 bhp, while peak torque has increased by 0.6 Nm. With 17.4 bhp at 9,250 rpm, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is now the most powerful motorcycle in the 160cc segment. This 2021 model with the rear disc brake variant weights around 147kg while the rear drum brake variant weights around 145kg.The Apache RTR 160 4V continues to get a 5-speed gearbox.

The rest of the bike remained unchanged.  However, the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V continues to feature the same design like an LED headlight with LED DRLs, an LED tail-light, and a single-piece seat. The motorbike comes with the same telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The new Apache RTR 160 4V will be available in three colors; Race red, black jockey and metallic blue. The braking duties are covered by discs on both ends on the top variant and a drum brake at the rear on the base version. Both models come with a single-channel ABS.

The 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V is all set to launch in the Nepalese market by next month. Once launched in Nepal, the bike will be available in two variants; drum brake and disc brake. The base model, with a rear drum brake and the one with the rear disc brake will be priced differently. The bike will compete against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Honda XBlade 160 and Hero Xtreme 160R in the Nepalese market. We expect the RTR 160 4V to become an even more exciting proposition.
