Royal Enfield, the iconic motorcycle brand renowned for its classic designs and robust performance, has officially launched its much-anticipated Guerrilla 450. We anticipate that the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will debut in Nepal in the coming days, possibly during NADA 2024. However, Alpha Automotive, the official distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Nepal, has not yet confirmed the launch or specific dates. It is designed for those who crave adventure both on and off the road.

Under the hood, the Guerrilla 450 is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 452cc, ‘Sherpa 450’ engine that does duty in the Himalayan. This engine generates a maximum power of 40hp at 8,000rpm and a max torque of 40Nm at 5,500rpm. It features disc brakes on both ends-310mm at the front and 270mm at the rear- ensuring effective stopping power, complemented by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. The suspension duties are covered by a USD fork telescopic unit at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

The Guerrilla is equipped with all LED lighting, including an LED headlight, which is becoming increasingly common in Royal Enfield bikes. It has a kerb weight of 185kg and features an 11-litre fuel tank, offering a mileage of approximately 35 kmpl. It is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The bike uses CEAT tyres, sized 120/70 R17 at the front and 160/60 R17 at the rear. These are the widest tyres ever installed on a motorcycle made in India.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is available in three variants: Analogue, Dash, and Flash. The Analogue variant features a subdued colour scheme of grey and black with some colourful accents, while the Dash and Flash variants are more vibrant. Overall, the new Guerrilla offers a total of five colour options. The bike features a state-of-the-art digital analogue instrument cluster that provides all essential information at a glance, including a gear indicator, fuel gauge, and trip meter.

The key difference lies in the instrumentation: the base Analogue variant features a digi-analogue display along with a supplementary Tripper navigation pod, while the higher-end variants are equipped with a TFT dash that includes all the connectivity features found on Royal Enfield’s adventure bikes. Additionally, like all previous Royal Enfield models, the Guerrilla 450 will be available with a wide range of accessories directly from the company.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has a starting price of 2.39 lakhs in India. However, the price of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 in Nepal is expected to be around 10 Lakhs or higher. Specific pricing and colour options will be disclosed before the official launch. It represents a bold step forward for the brand, merging its storied heritage with the demands of modern adventure touring. Its design, performance, and technological advancements make it a bike to watch.
