Renault Triber To Be Launch In Nepal By Christmas
After the success of Renault Kwid, Renault is launching their MPV with the name of Triber. Triber is expected to come with loads of headroom and legroom as it is a long car. Triber will be the second MPV of Renault after Lodgy. We expect the interior to come with dual-tone interiors and the 7-inch touch screen which we have seen in other Renault models. We expect Renault to offer various safety features as standard on the Triber. The new MPV is based on a new platform as per Renault. Triber will be positioned between Kwid and the SUV's that the Renault offers.
The Renault Triber will have the interiors in the dual-tone scheme, new multi-information display instrument cluster, and spacious glove box. The seat matrix will be available in seven-seat combinations with the split-fold/slide second-row seats. The third row will have opposite-facing bucket seats or the front-facing seat for two occupants with foldable backrest for flexibility of luggage space. The convenience features of cup and bottle holders at key locations, air conditioning with air vents for rear seat occupants, and the 7-inch infotainment system which we have seen on other Renault models can be expected in the upcoming model. The infotainment system should also offer Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The Renault Triber's front profile would consist of day-light running lamps and a wide grill. The rear portion would be modified suiting the requirement of a multi-purpose vehicle with overall dimensional features in the sub-4 meter category. The radiator grille with chrome surround, body-colored ORVMs with integrated indicators, body-colored door handles and the new set of wheels would be featured in this model. At the rear, the wide-opening tailgate with easy accessibility to the luggage space, the new tail lamps with roof-mounted stop lamps and the MPV badging in chrome would give it a distinctive stance.
The Renault Triber specifications are expected to feature the upgraded version of the 999 cc 3-cylinder petrol engine with a power output of 68 PS at 5500 rpm and torque of 91 Nm at 4250 rpm available in the Kwid. We expect that there will be 5-speed manual transmission and an automatic will be introduced afterward.
The Renault Triber MPV braking system will have disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The safety features of dual front airbags, seat belts, rear parking sensors, power windows and central locking with remote can be expected in the upcoming model. The additional safety features of the parking assist system, pedestrian protection system and vehicle protection system can be expected in this model.
The Renault Triber mileage would range at 17-21kmpl, and the fuel economy can vary slightly depending upon the kerb weight and final configuration of the vehicle. On average, a mileage of 18 kmpl can be expected in city driving and up to 21kmpl can be expected on the highway.
The Renault Triber would be in competition with the Datsun GO+ and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The impressive styling features and versatility of interiors would be the boosting factors for this model. Being an MPV, we expect the suspension to handle the bumps and potholes in a good manner. The ride of the Triber should be supple and should handle quite well.
