New Volkswagen Vento Scheduled For 2021 In Nepal

German car major Volkswagen’s  wing has launched the new refreshed 2015 Vento facelift. In its new facelift version, the quality sedan gets more stylish with a refreshed look. The Vento gets mainly cosmetic updates, and the most noticeable change is on its front face which comes in the form of new chrome grille borrowed from the new 2015 Jetta and new Passat. This stunning German sedan now comes with refreshed exterior and interior design and is available in the Indian car market in both petrol and diesel versions. The Volkswagen Vento is offered a wide choice of ten model trims. While there are no mechanical changes in the vehicle, it has been tuned to offer an enhanced fuel efficiency of up to 7.5 percent, is another welcome update.

The refreshed sedan is endowed with beautiful interiors that offer a refreshing new look and feel to the vehicle on the inside. The 2015 Volkswagen’s Vento comes with a sophisticated dual tone color scheme accentuated with classy chrome trimmings. The car is done with high quality materials and scratch resistant superior plastic surfaces which definitely enhances the overall up-market appeal. There is premium 'Cloud Titanschwarz' fabric upholstery with a black interior theme for the Trendline mid range trims; and the higher Highline variants gets premium two-tone leatherette upholstery and 'Walnut Desert Beige' interior theme. The sedan offers a multi-function console and steering wheel, cooled glove box, leather wrapped gearshift and steering wheel, front and rear center armrest, 12V power socket, trunk illumination and much more.

The sedan gets equipped with ventilated disc brakes upfront and drums brakes at rear. Its safety features include ABS, electronic engine immobilizer, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, speed sensing auto door locks, and many more. 

The 2015 Volkswagen’s Vento comes with many interesting updates to its exterior design. There are new striking styling elements which are enough impress buyers at a first glance. On its face there is a new chrome finished radiator grille with three slats, stylish headlights in black finish, body colored bumper with a wide airdam decorated with chrome strip and new fog lights. Its side looks flamboyant with body colored door handles with chrome strip, body hued wing mirrors with turn blinkers and brilliant Zirkonia alloy wheels (only for range topping model). The car’s rear design features new 3D effect tail lights and the boot lid comes with the company logo embossed on it. Additional chrome dose on the tailgate and exhaust pipe complete the classy look.

The Volkswagen Vento comes with a range of 3 engines out of which two are petrol and one diesel units. The noteworthy thing is that all these motors churn out the same max power figure of 103.5 bhp. The 1.6 liter petrol is a 4-cylinder naturally aspirated unit that offers a peak torque of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm. The 1.2 liter petrol turbocharged mill that is mated a 7 speed automatic transmission offers 175 Nm of torque in between 1500 to 1400 rpm, and the 1.5 liter diesel mill produces 250 Nm of torque in between 1500 and 2500 rpm and is paired to a 7 speed DSG automatic gearbox.

The 1.6 liter MPI petrol offers 16.09Kmpl, the 1.2 liter petrol delivers 18.19Kmpl, and the diesel mill offers a max mileage of 21.50Kmpl. The Vento offers good performance and superior handling. Volkswagen Vento competes with Honda CityMaruti Suzuki CiazHyundai VernaRenault ScalaFiat LineaSkoda RapidNissan Sunny and Ford Fiesta.
