Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the 2020 model of the Vitara Brezza. The big change in this compact SUV is the introduction of the BS6-compliant 1.5L K15B petrol engine. As we reported earlier, the diesel engine of the car has been discontinued by the brand.
Mechanically, the 1462cc 4-cylinder petrol engine churns out 103HP of maximum power at 6000 rpm along with 138Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. It comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission along with an optional 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The ARAI certified mileage of the vehicle stands at 17.03kpl for manual version while the automatic model is good for 18.76kpl. Coming to the design traits, the exterior of the car gets a revised front grille, new headlights along with integrated turn indicators. The rear of the car gets a new bumper and LED taillights.
Going by the interiors, the 2020 model of Brezza gets minimal changes. It comes with new upholstery and smart play studio touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The brand has introduced the BS6-compliant model with 3 new dual-tone colour options: Sizzling Red with Midnight Black roof, Granite Grey with Autumn Orange Roof, and Torque Blue with Midnight Black roof.
