Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga is one of the most successful cars ever made by the company. In response to the growing customer demands, the MPV got its second Gen model in November 2018. The upgraded Ertiga got noticeable exterior as well as interior changes.
The second gen Ertiga of Maruti Suzuki has also been accepted by the customers in a positive way and the car is selling in good numbers in Asian Market. The MPV has been built on the fifth-gen lightweight Heartect platform. Its exterior updates show that the car has grown more upscale.
Now, the brand has launched the Tour M version of the MPV to cater to the needs of the taxi aggregators and fleet operators. Unlike the regular Ertiga, the Tour M will only be available with a 1.5-litre petrol motor which produces 105HP of maximum power at 6000 rpm along with a peak torque of 138 Nm at 4400 rpm.
For safety purposes, the Ertiga Tour M complies with the Government’s new safety norms which include dual front airbags, and ABS, along with seatbelt warning, speed sensitive door locks, rear parking sensors, and an 80 kmph speed limiter. The Ertiga Tour M will surely be highly appealing to the people who are there in the cabs business.
The Tour M is said to be fuel efficient as it provides company claimed mileage of 18.18 kmpl. It will surely attract cab operators as mileage, refinement, and reliability play a significant role in this sector. Since the debut of the latest model of the Ertiga, the car has been posting good sales numbers every month and the company hopes that this trend will likely to continue in the coming months as well.
