The upcoming facelift of the Mahindra XUV300 has been renamed as the XUV3XO. Mahindra has officially announced that the extensively updated compact SUV will make its global debut on April 29, 2024. In addition to the new name, the XUV3XO undergoes a significant design transformation and incorporates additional features. The XUV3XO EV is set to join the lineup towards the latter part of 2024. This renaming hints at Mahindra's bold vision for the future, where innovation knows no bounds and boundaries are meant to be pushed.

The XUV3XO is set to offer a variety of powertrain choices. The existing range of engines, including a 1.5-litre diesel, a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol (TGDi), will remain unchanged. However, the 1.2-litre TGDi petrol variant will come equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission sourced from Aisin. Its powerful engine and responsive handling ensure a thrilling driving experience with every mile. The braking system of the XUV3XO will maintain its inspiration from the previous model.

One of the most exciting aspects of any facelift is the design refresh, and the XUV3XO doesn't disappoint. The facelift of the XUV300 brings a significant redesign to both the front and rear, drawing strong inspiration from Mahindra's BE line-up of SUVs. The refreshed XUV3XO features a sharper front end with angular styling and redesigned LED daytime running lamps for a modern look. The front bumper and headlamp assembly have been updated, and a larger central air intake adds to its bold presence. Additionally, a new two-part grille enhances the SUV's aesthetic appeal.

The back of the XUV3XO has been changed with a new tailgate that has a full-width LED light bar and looks smoother. The tail lamps are now sleeker and have a C-shaped design. Instead of being on the tailgate, the registration plate is now on the bumper. It also comes with new alloy wheels that have a dark chrome finish. From intuitive infotainment systems to advanced driver-assist technologies, every element has been carefully integrated. The safety features are expected to remain the same as those of the previous model.

The global debut of the XUV3XO is set for April 29, but the launch date for the Nepalese market remains uncertain. Anticipate that the price of the XUV3XO in Nepal will likely exceed that of the XUV300. Stay tuned for further updates as more information becomes available. Once launched in Nepal, the XUV3XO will compete with the likes of Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet. So, buckle up and get ready to experience the future of driving, as Mahindra is set to unleash its latest masterpiece upon the world.
