Mahindra has just launched the e-Verito electric sedan in Nepal. The eVerito is the all-electric equity-based derivative product of the Mahindra Verito sedan. Mahindra Verito is a 5 seater Sedan that comes in three variants including D2, D4, and D6. Mahindra has introduced a lot of new technical features in its new product Mahindra eVerito. According to the company, the eVerito has an edge over all-electric cars in Nepal in terms of interior space and better utility features.

Mahindra E Verito is powered by a 41 bhp 72-volt electric motor, which takes 8 hours for a full charge, while the top-end D6 variant is equipped with a quick charge facility that takes1 hour 45 minutes for a full charge. The car is equipped with a 200Ah Li-ion battery and on one full charge, the sedan is claimed to travel up to 110kms. The E Verito is powered by a 4 cylinder, 1461 cc, electric engine that is able to produce 160 Nm @ 2000 rpm torque and 66 PS @ 4000 rpm power. The sedan also gets the drive single-speed transmission channelizing power to front wheels.  

The Mahindra E Verito comes with sports styling elements such as body-colored bumpers, chrome front grille, side cladding, bodyside decals, and side indicators on the outside. It also includes the clear lens headlamps, adjustable steering, central console armrest with storage instrument console, and the graphics with Verito Electric signature. This Sedan car comes with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) including disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear with steel rims in the D2 variant, and alloy wheels in the D4 and D6 variants.  

Mahindra E Verito is available in 2 colors: Diamond White and Desat Silver. The price of the E Verito in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 30 lakhs and the company claims to provide a 3-year warranty on the battery. The Mahindra eVerito has no direct rivals in the Nepalese market but falls into the same price range as popular executive sedans in Nepal.
