Kawasaki has updated the Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR for 2021 with the features that are changes in both cosmetic and mechanical way. The Kawasaki Ninja H2's steep design seems to be the inspiration behind the new Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-10RR. Dual LED headlights are positioned either side of the central intake tunnel and give the ZX an aggressive look which is inch-perfect. Kawasaki cleverly integrated winglets (a first for the 10R), within the lateral aerodynamics and claims to help improve downforce by 17 percent. The colour options for this Kawasaki bikes are pretty bold as well, especially the ZX-10RR’s bright green shade. Kawasaki modified the ergonomics of the new ZX-10 to result in a more engaged riding mode. The footrests are set at a height of 5mm, the clamp is advanced 10mm, while the triple clamp itself is lowered. The tail section looks sharp as ever and overall the design exudes a fair amount of aggressiveness which gives a proper sports looks. The 998cc four-cylinder engine has been upgraded to Euro5 / BS6 emission standards with the help of a modified exhaust system and a catalytic converter. While the horsepower numbers are yet to be revealed. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
In terms of electronics, Bosch's IMU six-axis governs the traction control, driving modes (3 standard and 4 customizable), the anti-braking system and many more features that are available. Thus, settings can be accessed via the new 4.3 ”TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity. It also has cruise control as standard, as well as engine brake control, start control, a quick-change switch, and an electronic steering damper. The ZX-10RR features improved engine internals, including titanium rods, lighter pistons, new camshafts, and new intake and exhaust springs. It also rides on lighter Marchesini wheels, while the brakes are Brembo Stylema roof calipers with steel braided lines.
