With more than 4 million vehicles registered in Nepal alone, accidents and road rage are bound to happen on the roads. Some of us are decent, and some are pretty reckless drivers, but a good piece of advice is to drive like nobody else knows how to. Since distracted driving is the main reason for accidents in Nepal, the people on our list below contribute a lot to this matter.

There are several types of idiot drivers that would drive any average driver mad. Look, these idiots are called idiots because they are just weird and cause chaos. We sincerely apologize if we offend any idiot drivers out there. If you're an idiot driver and you are offended.....so what. This is our reminder that the next time you are on the road, keep your eyes open. However, for now, you can scroll below and don't forget - safety first.

Only In Nepal:

Part of the enjoyment of riding is the adventure. Sometimes you get cold, sometimes you get wet, and sometimes you run out of gas. Trying to carry loads that are ridiculously large or heavy on a motorcycle is dangerous, and dumb which we have seen on the Nepalese street very often. Everyone makes mistakes on a motorcycle and learns from these mistakes. It’s perfectly acceptable to carry as much weight as is allowed, as long as it’s properly balanced and secured.

No Signal Drivers:

Don't worry; the no-signal driver knows exactly where to turn. The problem is they assume everyone else on the road knows this, too. The idea that they need to communicate their actions to other drivers on the road is a foreign concept. Ironically, when No Signal Driver makes the rare decision to signal their intentions, they inevitably forget to cancel the signal and leave it to blocks all at once, leaving other drivers in guesswork. No wonder, why they are referred to as idiot drivers.

Highway Weavers:

It may be rush hour for the rest of us, while some of us might head towards the work or something other important to attend. For the Highway Weavers, this is a good opportunity to show off their amazing car/bike handling skills. Lane discipline is non-existent for them while other cars/bikes on the highway are always on disciplined way. In the end, they usually get stuck somewhere in the far right lane in exiting traffic. King of an idiot.

The Constant Honker:

In Nepal, when driving, you need a ring of eyeballs around your head to see what’s coming. In this world, the horn is a survival tool and a weapon. People use them constantly — to berate, to warn, and especially to get sluggish drivers to move. But in Nepal, it’s gotten to be too much. Honking in traffic has become such a problem, creating so much noise for no reason. People should always be aware that Honking or making noise doesn’t move the traffic.

Distracted Driving:

Distracted drivers are the top cause of car accidents in Nepal today. Distracted driving is dangerous, claiming more than 3000 lives every year. Distracted driving is any activity that distracts you from driving, including talking or texting on your phone, eating, drinking and much more that distracts you from the task of safe driving. Any non-driving activity you participate in is a potential distraction and increases collision risk. We can all play a part in the fight to save lives by ending distracted driving.
