Benelli BX 250 is an adventure focused dirtbike. This bike was displayed at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo and it is also christened as the Motard 250. Now, the bikemaker plans to launch it here in Nepal and we can expect this model to reach here sometime in 2020. This 250 cc engine powered model could come here focusing the customers who seek the thrill of adventure riding but doesn’t want to spend a huge amount for that.
The Benelli BX 250 comes featuring a minimalist and lean approach, but it also ensures a high-quality performance. It gets a high positioned raised mudguard, a compact yet powerful headlamp, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 7-litre capacity fuel tank. The fuel tank not only promises a long-running range for the bike without refuelling, while the tank scoops accompanying it enhance the muscular look.
The seat has been designed ergonomically to give the rider a comfortable feel. A narrow and sleek tail section with a compact taillight is there. The all-aluminium chunky exhaust muzzle is positioned under the tail section. The bike runs on black alloy wheels wrapped with meaty tubeless tyres. To make the off-roading tasks easier, the Benelli BX 250 comes with higher ground clearance.
The Benelli BX 250 or Motard 250 is powered by a 249 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine churns out 25 bhp of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 21 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.For braking duty, the Benelli BX 250 gets a 280 mm front disc brake and a 238 mm rear disc brake. The bike is expected to deliver high-level performance for sure. Apart from that, this lightweight Benelli performance bike comes ensuring great handling capability. The Benelli BX 250 is expected to offer around 25 kmpl of mileage. We believe the Benelli BX 250 has good chance to become an interesting product in the country’s adventure bike segment.
