Hyundai Motors has officially launched the much-awaited 2023 Grand i10 Nios in Nepal. Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has confirmed the launch of the 2023 Grand i10 Nios in the Nepalese market. It is a premium hatchback that comes with an updated price, updated design, new styling, and a host of new and revised features making it even more appealing to buyers. The refreshed Nios also gets styling updates to the interior and a more streamlined engine line-up. The hatchback is available in a total of 4 variants – Era, Magna, Magna AMT and Sportz.
The new i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2 kappa petrol BS6-complaint engine that can generate a max power of 82 PS at 6000rpm and max torque of 113Nm at 4000rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or optional automatic transmission. According to the company, these engines are designed to deliver good fuel efficiency and a smooth driving experience. The suspension duties are handled by a McPherson strut and a coupled torsion beam axle handle. The car also comes with new 15-inch alloy wheels and a shark fin antenna. It is also equipped with the Hyundai's Smart Auto AMT technology that adjusts the gear shifts according to the driving conditions.
The new i10 NIOS has received some notable design changes. It features a new front bumper with a revised grille design while the distinctive boomerang-shaped daytime running lights have been swapped with new Y-shaped LED lights. The front fog lamps have been removed and it boasts updated taillights and a revamped tailgate. The car also comes with new alloy wheels, which add to the overall appearance of the vehicle. There are no changes to the bonnet while the satin-finished Hyundai logo is i,n place of the 3D chrome one from before. The new updated features give the car a look more stylish and attractive.
One of the most significant updates to the 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is the addition of several new safety features. The car is now equipped with four airbags, ABS and EBD as standard, ESC, a day/night rearview mirror, and an ISOFIX child seat. Front and side airbags are now standard across the range, while top-spec versions also add in curtain airbags. It also includes a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring, and lane departure warning. The car is also equipped with some additional safety features and revised seat fabrics. These features are designed to help drivers stay safe on the road and avoid accidents.

It is available in five different colours - Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, and Aqua Teal. It will compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift and the upcoming Tata Punch.
