Royal Enfield is all set to launch its new motorbike Scram 411 in Nepal. The Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 is a scrambler-styled model based on the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Alpha Automotive, the authorized distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Nepal, has confirmed the launch of Scram 411 in the Nepalese market. It is expected to launch within the next few months that share the same engine and chassis as the Himalayan and looks more compact and accessible.
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is powered by a 411cc BS6 engine that generates a maximum power of 24.3 bhp at 6500 rpm and a torque of 32 Nm at 4200 rpm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes up with a dual-channel anti-locking braking system. The Scram 411 gets a smaller 19-inch front wheel, with slightly less front suspension travel and ground clearance as compared to the Himalayan. The fuelling has been changed on the Scram, to make the throttle response feel crisper and more responsive.
The Scram 411 has a few visual changes. It gets a halogen headlight flanked by bulb indicators, LED taillights, a single-pod instrument cluster with a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip meter, fuel level indicator, and many more. A seat is now a single-piece unit, and marginally lower at 795 mm and the grab rail is also smaller to help make it easier to swing a leg over. The Royal Enfield has given it a few design touches to make it slightly off-road-friendly, including serrated pegs and a high-mounted exhaust.
The Scram 411 is available in seven different color options-Blazing Black, Skyline Blue, Graphite Yellow, Graphite Blue, Graphite Red, White Flame, and Silver Spirit. Royal Enfield Scram 411 price in Nepal is yet to be confirmed. The Royal Enfield Scram will be a direct competitor to the Yezdi Scrambler and the Yezdi Adventure, while also rivaling the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Honda CB350RS.
