Piaggio will launch their most awaited production, Aprilia Maxi Scooter SXR 160 is set to be launched in the Nepalese market by January or February 2021. The 160cc maxi-style scooter was scheduled to be launched in mid-2020. However, its launch has been delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. It has been designed in Italy, specifically for our Nepalese market. The SXR 160 is set to be the newest product by the brand in Nepal. According to our sources, it is likely to cost around NRs 3 to 4 lakhs. Think Italian automobiles and three things pop up - style, sportiness and a price tag to match. Aprilia’s latest SXR 160 is all about that.

The upcoming Aprilia SXR 160 is loaded with a host of features, design, chassis, comfort, and dynamics as well as engine and performance. The SXR 160 comes with features such as an all-LED lighting system, LCD instrument cluster, and smartphone connectivity as well as gets a generously sized seat and presumably, large under-seat storage too. An engine is a 160.03cc unit, which can develop a peak power of 10.9 PS (at 7,100 rpm). We expect the Aprilia SXR 160 to have a slightly different state of tune though.  It will come in four color options: red, blue, white, and black. The SXR 160 has been specially designed for the Nepalese market and will go up against the Suzuki Burgman Street 125.
